The Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to M.Sc.) in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design integrates the scientific and technical skills of the polytechnic culture of Architecture studies with those of landscape design and agricultural sciences. The training profile able to address the problems of architectural and urban composition at different scales of intervention, paying particular attention to the sustainability of housing and the transformation of open spaces and infrastructures.
The technical and scientific skills that are offered respond adequately to the demands of an international context. In support of the internationalisation project, several parallel initiatives, including workshops, International Summer School and study-trips are also planned.
Graduates will be capable of performing managerial functions in public or private institutions and bodies, as well as in a freelance capacity, both independently and within professional firms and design companies. Graduates in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design can take the State Examination to be entered in the Professional Register of Architects - Section A - Sector Architecture, Regional planning, Landscape design, Conservation of architectural and environmental assets). After taking the State examination, they will be able to practice the profession of Architect in the Member States of the European Community (Official Journal of the European Union n. 2004/C 322/02 of 29/12/2004).
