Engineering

Laurea (equivalent to B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering

Admission requirements are having an upper secondary education diploma (or other evidence of formal qualifications recognised as being suitable) and taking the engineering admission test TOL - Test On Line.

Following the health emergency due to Covid-19, the Politecnico di Milano has established the remote delivery of TOL tests for admission to the A.Y. 2020/2021. To find out how it works, please refer to the page Come si svolge il test a distanza. For all updates following the health emergency, it is advisable to consult the following page on a regular basis www.poliorientami.polimi.it/come-si-accede/ingegneria/informazioni-generali

The test can be taken by students in the penultimate and final year of high school, and by those who have already graduated from high school.

The registration phases are differentiated:

  • the first stage of enrolment, without ranking, is reserved for students who have taken and passed the TOL in the year prior to their penultimate year of high school;
  • the subsequent stages of registration, by means of rankings, allow registration only to degree courses which still have places available. These phases are reserved primarily for students who have taken and passed the TOL and, only in the last phase, also foor those who did not pass the test.
