Social habitat: art, architecture and public space
On Monday May 12th, 2025 from 10.30am to 12.30pm in the Vegezzi Pavillion of the Arata Campus (Via Scalabrini 113 - Piacenza) the teaching event “Social habitat: art, architecture and public space” will take place.
The meeting takes the form of a dialogue between artists, architects and students on the main themes of the transformation of public space in the contemporary city. Some perspectives through which the social habitat can be shaped through the intersection of artistic and architectural practice will be explored.
The event is part of the ‘PRA Collective’ training initiatives of the laurea programme (equivalent to B.Sc.) in Architectural Design of Piacenza Campus. It is a series of lectures, exhibitions and training events proposed by the professors of the laurea programme and open to all students and other professors of the programme.

- Federico Di Cosmo, Vice-coordinator of the laurea programme in Architectural Design;
- Deianira Amico, professor in the Architecture, Art and Public Space course;
- Jacopo Gresleri, professor in the Architecture Design course;
- Martina Sogni, curator - together with Filippo Albonetti and Maria Teresa Bricchi - of the exhibition Spazi in Attesa (Spaces in Waiting), promoted by the Piacenza Order of Architects and P.P.C;
- Andrés E. Maloberti and Nicola Roda, La Città Minaccia art collective.
